Pricing & Estimates
Honestly — it depends. Size, species, condition, how the tree leans, how close it is to your house or power lines, and how easy it is for us to get equipment to it all change the job. That's why we don't throw out numbers over the phone; two trees that look similar from the curb can be completely different jobs once you account for access and risk.
The only way to get a real, accurate number is for us to come look at it in person. We'll walk the property, talk through the plan with you, and hand you a written quote on the spot — free, with no obligation.
Completely free and no-obligation. We come to your property, look at the tree, explain what we'd do and why, and hand you a written quote. You decide if you want to move forward — no pressure either way.
It depends on the stump's diameter, how deep and wide the root system spreads, and how easy it is to get the grinder to it. Rather than guess at a number, we'll come take a look and give you a written quote on the spot.
Got more than one stump? Mention it when you call — we're glad to look at all of them in the same visit and quote the whole job together.
No. Full cleanup and haul-off is included in every job. We chip all branches, remove all wood, and leave your yard clean. The only exception is if you want to keep the firewood — just let us know and we'll stack it for you.
Licensing & Insurance
Yes — fully insured. We carry general liability insurance and coverage for our crew on every job, and we're happy to provide proof of insurance before any work starts — just ask. Indiana doesn't require a special license for tree service work, but Ron's been doing this professionally for 22+ years, so you're getting an experienced, properly-equipped crew either way.
If an uninsured tree worker is injured on your property, you could be held liable. If an uninsured company damages your home, you have limited recourse. Our insurance protects both your property and our crew — it's a non-negotiable standard for any reputable tree service.
The Job & Process
We take this seriously. Before any job, we plan drop zones carefully and protect your lawn with mats where equipment will be used. We use ropes and rigging to control where wood sections land. Occasional light lawn marks from heavy equipment can happen in wet conditions — we always minimize this and are upfront about any risk before we start.
Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the work area and have reviewed the plan before we start, most jobs don't require you to be present. We'll communicate any questions and send a completion photo when we're done.
Most residential tree removals take 2–6 hours depending on size, access, and complexity. We'll give you a time estimate when we do the quote. We rarely need multiple days for a single tree.
Some municipalities require a permit to remove trees above a certain size or in protected areas. We'll advise you on whether a permit is needed in your situation and can help guide the process — though the permit itself is typically applied for by the property owner.
Emergency Service
Yes — if you've got a dangerous tree or storm damage, call (765) 570-3398 and we'll do everything we can to get to you quickly. We're a small, honest crew, so we prioritize what we can when we can rather than promising guaranteed round-the-clock response. Reach out and we'll move as fast as possible.
1. Keep everyone away from the tree and the affected area. 2. If you're inside, move to the far side of the house. 3. Call us: (765) 570-3398. We'll respond immediately. Also contact your homeowner's insurance — most policies cover storm damage. We'll provide written documentation for your claim.
